Mission
Viewpoint Recovery Program's mission is to develop a quality integrated system of behavioral health services for indigent chemically dependent adult males; to provide these services with respect for the individual's needs, choice and satisfaction in the least restrictive manner as possible and to treat individuals in a dignified and respectful manner at all times.

Goal
The goal of Viewpoint Recovery Program is to assist individuals in the process of becoming self-sufficient, productive members of their communities.

Overview - Intermediate/Long Term Residential
The Viewpoint Recovery Program Facility is located at 104-06 Richmond Hill Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut.  It is CTE's long-term residential treatment facility for male substance abusers.  For over 30 years it has had exceptional success in helping its participants overcome their addictions.  Viewpoint's mission is to provide all residents with the treatment, life skills and services necessary to return to their communities as drug free individuals who are progressing towards self-sufficiency.   The services provided include individual, group and family therapy and counseling; vocational/educational opportunities; exposure to the 12-step program; literacy programming; GED preparation; budgeting and financial planning; job readiness; life skills management; substance abuse education; discharge planning and aftercare.

  • Length of stay: Variable up to 7 months
  • Admissions Criteria: Adult males (appropriate and eligible for this level of treatment)
